The 1968 Plymouth GTX Convertible is a classic muscle car, one of the most iconic and sought-after vehicles from the late '60s. It was part of Plymouth's muscle car lineup and was essentially a high-performance version of the Belvedere, with a focus on power and performance.
Here are some key details about the 1968 Plymouth GTX Convertible:
· Engine Options: The 1968 GTX came with a variety of engine options, including the 440 cubic inch V8 (producing 375 horsepower) as the standard engine, and the optional 426 Hemi V8 (producing 425 horsepower) for those looking for even more power. The 440 was particularly popular, offering a strong balance between performance and drivability.
· Transmission: It was available with either a 4-speed manual transmission or a 3-speed automatic.
